Providing Enlightenment on How to Avoid Being Led to Spiritual Destruction

Matthew 7:13 -"Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it.

Did you know pagan holidays and beliefs such as Christmas, Easter and Sunday worship which have been associated with Christianity are not Biblical? In fact these three events celebrated for many generations according to the Bible have absolutely no origin in Christs' teachings what so ever. However, they were adopted into the church and kept by many Christians after Christs' crucifixion for thousands of generations (This is bad! Revelation 22:18-19). So, what is God's concern to Christians about conforming and keeping to human traditions such as these?

Ezekiel 11:12 - And you will know that I am the Lord, for you have not followed my decrees or kept my laws but have conformed to the standards of the nations around you.”

Christians following other nations (people) and the ways in which they worship their gods, as we can see through scripture is not something that pleases God and we are warned if continued, it will not go well for us in the end. Therefore, as true followers of Christ, we must only follow the traditions and teachings of Christ.

According to the Bible, staying connected too and holding too the original teachings of Christ is the only way to be led to salvation, receive forgiveness of our sins and have a true, authentic relationship with God. (John 15: 1-7)

Let's us together study more about how to avoid being led to spiritual destruction, by those who disobey God's word and desire to continue keeping  man-made traditions.
